Waterfowl School StartsWaterfowl Hunting School Open to Beginners as well as Veteran HuntersSeptember 15 -- Woodduck Alley is excited to announce that it is accepting reservations for its one and two day waterfowl hunting schools. Classes will be by reservation only. ONE DAY SCHOOL The one day school is an introduction to waterfowl hunting for those novice and beginner hunters that want to get a good idea what waterfowl hunting is all about. We take you into a number of hunting situations including field blinds, pits, and water blinds. We introduce you to the etiquette and conduct for a safe hunt in those surroundings. You get the opportunity to help set out decoys and practice identifying and shooting at simulated ducks and geese. You also will work on safe gun handling practices and zones of fire. Ammunition ( 12ga, 20ga) and lunch is included. Course hours are 8am til 5pm Cost is $ 150 per person Limit of 3 people per class - advanced reservation is required. TWO DAY SCHOOL The two day program is very similar to the one day course except that there is more practice sessions. We also include a session on decoy patterns, calls, and calling. There is also a session on hunting boat safety and the use of field retrievers. Ammunition (12ga.,20ga.) and lunch is included each day. Course hours each day are 8am til 5pm Cost is $ 250 per person Limit of 3 people per class - advanced reservation is required.
